𝙁𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙖 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙪

A heartfelt farewell ceremony was organized in honor of the Venerable Sangha members from the Mahabodhi Society of Bengaluru and its branches, led by Venerable Kassapa Thero, on the eve of their departure.

The event was graced by the presence of Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena, along with devotees, guests, students, and well-wishers. The evening featured a vibrant cultural program presented by students, showcasing traditional Ladakhi dances, songs, and performances that reflected the rich cultural heritage of the region.

Special performances were also presented by Sri Lankan artists. Renowned Bollywood actor, singer, composer, and Dhamma singer Phuntsog Ladakhi captivated the audience with soulful songs, including his self-composed “Ahimsa Paramo Dharam,” conveying the timeless message of peace and non-violence.

The gathering was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Gayatri Tewari, former Mrs. India 2018, acclaimed social worker, and Goodwill Ambassador of MIMC.

During the ceremony, Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena felicitated Venerable Kassapa Thero and the accompanying Sangha members, expressing appreciation for their visit and their contribution to the propagation of the Buddha Dhamma. In his address, Guruji emphasized the importance of strengthening spiritual friendship and cooperation in promoting the values and teachings of Bada Bhanteji.
